Important: At present, tirzepatide (Mounjaro) is not available for prescribing in any setting in Greater Manchester for weight management. A further update will be issued at the end of June 2025.

• NHS Better Health. This national website provides a range of tools and support to help people start healthier eating habits, moving more, and losing weight as a result.
• NHS Digital Weight Management Programme. This offers online access to weight management plans to those living with obesity who also have a diagnosis of diabetes, or hypertension, or both. With three levels of support and a choice of providers, it is designed to offer patients a personalised level of support to help them to manage their weight.

Why you should get your free Healthy Start vitamins

Young children and babies may not get enough vitamin A and D even if they’re eating well. If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, you may not get enough vitamin C, vitamin D or folic acid.

You can get these important vitamins for free whilst you receive NHS Healthy Start payments. There are two vitamin products available:

• Healthy Start women’s tablets
• Healthy Start children’s drops
